I’m Rob, the founder of Unofficial.
I’ve been around the WordPress space in marketing roles for a little over a decade now. I’ve freelanced, worked for an enterprise agency, started and sold a WordPress plugin business, and worked for the biggest managed WordPress host in town. In every one of these gigs I’ve observed one absolute truth – sales success happens on the other side of a story.
I.e. a case study.
Sales teams have an unquenchable thirst for case studies that demonstrate to the next customer how the last customer found success. Marketing teams, on the other hand, have a never ending backlog of competing priorities that case studies have to somehow slot amidst.

How long does it take to produce a case study?
We work quick. Obviously there are dependancies on review and client/customer input, but if there is something in our court (e.g. a first draft) it’s a 2 business day turn-around.
How does the collab’ triangle between me, you, and my customer/client actually work in practice?
The key thing is that your client is your client. We’ll give you everything, including draft emails, you need to send through to them for their input and contribution.
Can I just order a single case study rather than the monthly rate?
We’ll do one-time projects on a case-by-case (pun intended) basis. Send us an email with what you’re wanting and we’ll let you know what we can do.
